Daily Update, April 5th, 12:30
At this time, there are 45 patients in Efrat. We are happy to report that 17 patients have recovered.
A few patients have been added to the list in recent days, most of whom have recently returned from abroad. All of these new patients immediately entered home isolation without public contact.
Over the past weekend, the police and the moked have received dozens of reports that Efrat residents are violating the Health of Ministry guidelines. These violations could cause a more serious outbreak of the virus throughout Efrat. The police, and the local security department have therefore decided to increase enforcement at the gates to Efrat and throughout the community.
The Ministry of Health guidelines are clear:
1. Do not go more than 100 meters from your home except for essential shopping, buying medicines, or going and returning from work.
2. Any time you leave your home you must wear a mask and gloves.
3. Minyanim and group prayers are not allowed - even in open spaces.
4. No one is permitted in parks or public areas.
The Israeli police and security forces will strictly enforce the guidelines by giving out large fines.
We understand that this is difficult, but we must follow the instructions!
We are all responsible for each other.
This is the only way we can beat the virus! There is no other way!
Remember that you can find all the details for Pesach on the Council’s website. Please follow all safety rules.
