Update for Wednesday, April 14:00
As of today there are 19 known patients in Efrat, and 44 who are in various stages of recovery.
We are thrilled that no new cases have been reported in Efrat in the last 17 days.
Despite the positive data in our community and the stabilization we are seeing on a national level, we must not forget that the fight against the Coronavirus is still far from over. People are still being infected every day, and it is imperative that we continue to obey the guidelines.
Today, special education classrooms were opened, tailored to Corona era specifications.
In Efrat, 72 students and 70 staff members, including teachers, administrators, cleaners, and security personnel went back to school!
Student’s can take part in this special education program only after they have coordinated with the school staff. Each student’s participation is conditional upon parental consent with written permission and a health statement.
Entry for Workers - In accordance with the army and Ministry of Defense guidelines, we are starting to allow workers to come into Efrat on a limited basis.
In the first stage, the sites will be isolated and fenced.
Workers over the age of 50 and workers from the Bethlehem District are not allowed to enter at this time.
Each worksite will be judged individually in accordance with the guidelines, and requires full coordination with Tamir Harbasatz at: email@example.com
Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut - We are preparing to perform live ceremonies through Facebook and YouTube. Details and links will be announced soon.
Remember that you can find all the information on a variety of topics for this Corona period on the Council’s website.
We will continue to update,
Together we will succeed!
