Update for Saturday Evening May 2nd, 23:00
Subject to the new guidelines, students in grades 1-3 will return to school tomorrow.
There are special instructions for learning during the Corona period. The administration and teaching staff are all prepared to welcome the students. The schools are clean and equipped to operate within the guidelines.
At this stage, transportation for students and teaching staff has not been budgeted or approved. Teachers and students must get to school independently. We understand that this is problematic, and we are trying to find a solution. We will update you as the situation develops.
Special instructions for parents and students starting tomorrow morning:
Entrance onto school grounds is permitted for students and staff only. Parents will not be allowed to enter. Parents will drop off and pick up students at designated areas. The Israel Police and the Security Department will help parents to safely drop off their children while preventing crowds.
Every student and staff member must come to school with a signed health statement after taking their temperature at home. The health statement is attached.
All staff members must wear masks throughout the school day. Students will wear masks in the hallways and courtyards.
At this stage, Tzaharon and youth group activities are not permitted.
The special education system will continue to operate in a limited format as it has been for the past two weeks.
Dear Residents, We are currently in a testing period. On the one hand, we are trying to restore the economy as much as possible, but on the other hand there are still many limitations and conditions. The Coronavirus is still here and we must act responsibly so that we do not face another wave of infection.
We are aware that there are still many questions that have not yet been answered. We are in contact with all government ministries and we are doing our best to prepare. Please feel free to share your questions and your struggles with us, and we will try to find solutions.
We will continue to update,
