According to data from the Ministry of Health and the Home Front Command, there are currently 27 verified patients in Efrat. We are aware of only 24 patients. This means that there are 3 patients whose routes have not been investigated, and that we cannot update residents who may have been exposed to them. We ask again, if you have been diagnosed, please let us know! Even if you do not want to publish your name, allow us to protect the community and try to stop the spread of infection. Please update us even if you have not traveled around Efrat and there is no impact on other residents - allow us to be in touch and help you however we can.
Currently there are about 300 families in Efrat who have at least one member in isolation. The Neighborhood Teams and many volunteers in the Efrat community are working to help make things as easy as possible for them.
This morning, the Ministry of Health issued guidelines that reduce the number of days of isolation for patients who have recovered..
We emphasize that the updated guidelines apply to verified patients who are in the recovery phase only, and that there is no change in the number of isolation days required in the case of someone who has been exposed to a verified patient. This number remains at 14 days from the time of exposure.
Additionally, anyone who lives with someone who is experiencing symptoms such as fever, trouble breathing, etc. should refrain from leaving home until that person receives a negative test result.
The social workers' strike ended today. We welcome their return to the holy work that they do every day. We missed you very much!
Please follow the instructions from the Ministry of Health, and wear a mask, keep social distance, and wash your hands!
We will continue to update,
