In 2004, a class for senior citizens was established for the first time in Efrat at Derech Avot High School in cooperation with the Ministry for Social Equality.

Classes for Senior Citizens strengthen the intergenerational connection between school students and senior citizens.
Classes are held once a week

Enrichment programs and multi-generational activities are also offered within the community:
Senior Volunteers - Senior citizens volunteer to give private lessons to struggling students 
Social activities - Senior citizens, participate in school activities such as ceremonies and events.
Shared classes - Generations learning together

 
In 2008, the Orot Etzion Girls School joined the project, offering classes for English speakers. 

In the year 2024/2025

the classes will run as follow:

Senios at Aseh Chayil:

The classes will be held on Mondays between the hours of 8:15-12:00
