Local Scholarships
Every year, the Efrat Local Council awards approximately ten scholarships to students studying for a bachelor's degree at a recognized institution of academic study. The application process opens annually on 1.8 and lasts one month.
Who can apply for the scholarship?

Residents of Efrat only.

Students working towards a bachelor’s degree.

Students in their second year and above.

Preference will be given to low-income students.

Preference will be given to students who are socially active in Efrat.

Students who have not previously received a scholarship from the Council.
Steps in applying for a scholarship:

Fill out the online form *.

Send the required documents to bodner@efrat.muni.il

A local committee will discuss the applications and approve the applicants.
Documents to attach to the application:

A photo of your teudat zehut and appendix.

Your study permit, including amount of tuition + the number of weekly study hours.

Pay stubs of the student, the parents, and his/her spouse (a student married with children is exempt from attaching his/her parents' pay slips)

A recommendation based on volunteer work in Efrat.

If there is an active file in the welfare department, please attach a recommendation from the Department of Social Services.

Additional recommendations or a personal letter of appeal to the committee
The winning candidates will receive a personal message and their names will be published in the Efraton!
Applications that do not contain all the relevant documents will not be considered.
