According to the law, every dog from the age of 3 months must be licensed.

Basic license conditions:

  • The dog is playful and vaccinated against rabies

  • The fee was paid to Efrat, and the dog is kept in accordance with the conditions of the license.

Non-compliance with one of the conditions means that you own the dog illegally.

Both the rabies vaccine and the license are valid for 12 months.

It is the owner’s responsibility to renew the license, vaccinate, pay the fee, and verify the chip.

The chip details can be checked on the Veterinary Services website (only through Internet Explorer) by entering the owner's name or the dog's chip number.

In case of discrepancy the veterinary service should be contacted in order to update the details.

It is very important to make sure that the phone numbers are correct so that the owner can be contacted immediately if a lost dog is found.
