The young division of Orot Etzion, where we learn with love and joy!

The Young Division of Orot Etzion is part of the Orot Etzion Torah educational institutions of Efrat. The school was established by parents who wanted intensive Torah study using the "Barkai" method, along with the study of all subjects at a high level.

The educational staff considers itself the emissary of the parents to teach professionally and lovingly, with responsibility and devotion

The Young Division has approximately 350 students in grades 1-3. Boys and girls are separated, Each grade has a special education class that is integrated into the school.

Our wonderful and dedicated staff includes experienced as well as young and energetic teachers. Our goal is to educate our children to Torah and mitzvot, and high-level study of other subjects.

Together with the parents, we monitor the personal, academic, emotional, and behavioral development of each student. We strive to create an optimal school environment through diverse classroom activities.

Special goals of the Young Division:

  • Development of diverse and experiential learning tools that help children grow in all areas.

  • Connection to the Land of Israel and Israeli culture through Israeli songs taught every week, and frequent tours of the woods near the school.

  • Ceremonies that focus on the Torah:

The Chumash Bereshit graduation ceremony in Hebron at the end of first grade, the Shemot and Bamidbar graduation ceremonies

  • The Young Division staff works in full cooperation with the Mechinot kindergartens and the staff of the Orot Etzion boys and girls schools, in order to create a smooth educational transition between the divisions.
