In case of attack or bite from an animal, please contact veterinary services immediately through the security center. Please provide as much information about the animal as possible.

In case of an attack by a stray dog, please call the security center immediately so that they can assist.

If a person gets bitten: The affected area should be thoroughly rinsed with running water and soap for 10 minutes. Seek medical help depending on the severity of the bite (emergency room, community doctor, etc.).

Please contact The Ministry of Health, located at 86 Jaffa Street in Jerusalem (opposite the Mahane Yehuda market), as soon as possible, and The Rabies Prevention Unit for examination and the decision regarding the need for further preventive treatment against rabies and the issuance of a restraining order for a biting dog or cat.

If an animal gets bitten: Contact the veterinary service as soon as possible.

The injured animal should be taken for medical treatment. In order for the veterinary service to be able to act against the attacking dog and its owner, they must see the injured dog and document the injuries. It is therefore important to contact them and bring the dog in as soon as possible.
