Urban Nature
The term urban nature refers to plants and animals living within the jurisdiction of the city, nature that is in an open or built-up area, such as ancient trees, blossoms, nesting areas, reptile and amphibian homes, and the like.
8th grade students learn about the urban nature near their homes, map the desires and needs of the neighborhoods in Efrat, learn how to use maps, locate mapping points, and meet with key figures to develop their map.
At the end of the program, students present their findings to the community.
